Few Changes & Updates

Hi anyone that follows myself and the girls. First I want to say that the last year or so at the TGOB was a blast, but life sometimes gets in the way and we had to rethink our commitments. I hope someday we can do another review site, but until then... I just want to THANK The GIRLS- Betty, Moira and Sally -- Also Lilly for joining us for awhile. Also I would like to thank the followers.

With that being said... Anytime I have a need or want to review a book, music, movie or something... this will be my main place.

So stick around, grab a coffee, beer, glass of wine or whatever is your poison and sit a spell. Fall is rolling in and it's my favorite time of year. Lots of things keeping me busy, but I will try to check in with all you lovely people once a week.

This is how I am Feeling today.....

All over the place and soo many things happening! Eek!

Been long time...

I know it's been awhile. I've been busy personally. We finally went on our trip to Boston! What an amazing city- old, new, history, sports, water, and everything I like lol. It was just a great place to visit and although we were there for 5 days we did not get to do EVERYTHING although we did to an awful lot. I want to go back soon especially in the fall to see all the trees change color. (I don't get that here at home)

Looking forward to the fall and Halloween and everything else that is coming up! Hoping I can make a few big changes soon.... (fingers crossed)

Heading Home....

After about 3 Months living with my sister and her family, I am moving back home. I am happy and sad all at the same time. I've really become closer to my sister and her 2 kids. It's going to be sad for me that I don't see them everyday! I am hoping I can talk J into possibly moving a little closer to my family, but we will see. We are hoping for alot of changes in the next few months... here's to all of them being positive and what we want!!

Love this song... love the book that goes with it! believe it or not House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski has a soundtrack of sorts.
His sister, Poe, album Haunted which came out it 2000. I've always liked the both of them and today for some reason music from that album keeps popping up.

My Familia

Funny I keep thinking about my family today! Spanish/ Cuban music keeps popping on the pod and after hanging with Momma this weekend and talking about them, they keep coming to mind.

I would really like to take J to Miami, FL to see my godmother and meet my Cousins. I just wish I could speak Spanish better and wish I spent more time with them all. I really love my heritage and am very proud to be Cuban- American!!

I've been slacking I know!

So you want to know what I've been up to? Ok really no one really reads this, but in case anyone wanders by here is the gist!

I went to CA for a weekend trip and had just an absolute blast!! J and I really got to get out and do stuff we wanted and really reconnected which was nice.


Then we got back and got to spend some quality time with my Bestie, her boys and her parents at a ball game.

Now I am just working my fingers to the bone, trying to drum up business and be here everyday I am supposed to till my trip to Boston in August. It's coming on me WAY to quickly and I am not totally prepared yet.
